Meet some of our recent career changers:
Becky Fanscher
Becky joined Northwestern Mutual in October of 2008. Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual Becky was a mortgage consultant for more than nine years. Becky was the top producer of her office and worked to help more than 130 families each year with their mortgage needs. Becky deiced to make a change to Northwestern Mutual because she wanted to help her clients with a more personalized approach to their finances. Becky wanted to join a company whose financial strength would get them through this rough period and she was impressed with what Northwestern Mutual had to offer clients. Becky also felt that Northwestern Mutual really put the customer first and had a great view of the financial markets. Becky enjoys being able to grow with this business as well as help her clients achieve their financial goals. Becky feels it is important to educate her clients and help them understand all the changes taking place in the financial market. In the first 6 months, Becky achieved the Pacesetter First 40 recognition award, and also the Pacemaker Award. Becky is married to Keith and they have four children, Brittany – a freshman in college, Christopher – a junior in high school, Alex –an 8th grader and Bethany – a 5th grader. They live in the Menomonee Falls area.
Chris Fugman
Chris Fugman joined Northwestern Mutual in November 2008. Chris was introduced to Northwestern Mutual 10 years ago when he became a policyowner for the first time. Chris respected the relationship he had with his financial representative because of the personalized approach he took towards helping Chris attain financial security for himself and his family. In Chris’ prior career he was a sales manager who traveled Monday through Friday over 80% of the year. When Chris and his wife were blessed with their son, Chris decided that it was not in the best interest of his family to sustain that level of travel. Chris knew something would need to change and he wanted to get into a business that would allow for similar financial rewards, an opportunity where he could make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and be a great dad all at the same time. It was clear to Chris that he could achieve his goals in the financial services industry and he found a fit with Northwestern Mutual because of their values and the approach they take with their clients. When Chris met people within The Holter Financial Group, he knew without a doubt that he had found a home. Chris has been with The Holter Financial Group almost a year and hasn’t looked back. Chris is grateful that he was able to have a seamless transition from one rewarding career to another and he is very excited about the opportunities ahead. In his first year Chris has achieved Pacesetter First 40, Pacesetter Second 60 and Pacemaker. Chris has also gotten into the leadership development program and he is ranked #1 in the central region for new financial representatives from 2008.
Jamie Delgadillo
Jamie joined Northwestern Mutual in May 2008. Prior to joining The Holter Financial Group, Jamie was a sales and marketing manager in the accounting and information technology consulting industries. Jamie was introduced to the financial representative opportunity from his financial advisor during an annual review. Together they discussed Jamie’s ambition and desire to own his own business. Jamie’s financial advisor suggested that he explore this career by going through our selection process. Through the selection process, Jamie discovered that this was an opportunity to build his own business, create flexibility for his career and family and the chance to have a high level of impact on the lives of his clients.
