There are over 70 Financial Representatives at The Holter Financial Group.  A few are highlighted below.

 

Andrew Bird

Financial Advisor

Andrew Bird, Financial Advisor, CLU, has been with Northwestern Mutual since starting as an intern in 2004. Andrew graduated from Marquette University in 2006 with his Bachelors in Business Economics.  He is originally from the greater Detroit area but loved Milwaukee enough to start his financial planning business here. Andrew works out of the Menomonee Falls office but meets with clients all throughout the greater Milwaukee area, and even neighboring states.

Andrew focuses on working with business owners, financial professionals (analysts, accountants, bankers), engineers and other successful professionals. Andrew helps these clients, their families, and their business with all areas of planning but especially enjoys helping clients protect themselves against the risk of premature death, becoming sick or injured, and saving for goals such as retirement and education. Andrew is also part of a financial security team that includes Patrick Kohler, CLU, ChFC as well as other specialists who focus on different areas of planning that include estate and employee benefits planning. Andrew has received the NAIFA Quality Award twice so far in his career.

When he’s not working, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering, and exercising. Andrew is particularly involved with his church, from serving meals to volunteering in other roles, as well as in Marquette University alumni groups. His favorite forms of exercise are mountain biking and triathlons.

 

William Boyle

Financial Representative

Bill Boyle has been with the firm since 2007 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is third generation at the Holter Financial Network and works out of The Menomonee Falls office. Bill grew up in Green Bay—Titletown—and he now lives in Downtown Wauwatosa.

Bill enjoys working with attorneys and high end sales professionals. In addition to life and disability risk shifting, Bill Boyle’s clients look to him to execute savings strategies to efficiently accumulate wealth.

Outside of work, Bill socializes with friends and spends a lot of time at the Milwaukee Athletic Club. He regularly attends Badger Basketball and Packer football games. In is off time Bill spends time vacationing and golfing.

 

Scott Bugalski

Financial Representative

Scott joined Northwestern Mutual in 2000 as a Financial Representative Intern while attending UWM as a finance major. As an intern, Scott achieved Power of 10 four times and was recognized by Northwestern Mutual as a Summer Lives Contest qualifier, as seen in USA Today and TIME magazine in 2000-2002 and 2003-2004, respectively. In 2002 and 2003, Scott was the leading financial representative intern in both lives and premium in the Central Region. In 2003, Scott ranked #3 in the entire company. Upon graduating from UWM, Scott joined Northwestern Mutual as a fulltime Financial Representative in December 2003. In 2004, Scott placed #5 in the Mike Gish award competition which is a national competition for college financial representatives who convert to become fulltime financial reps. As a fulltime representative, Scott has achieved Pacesetter First 40, Pacesetter Second 60 as well as the bronze, silver, gold and platinum New Financial Representative Awards. Scott is a current member of our leadership development program and he holds the role of Internship Development Officer in our Network Office.

 

Christopher Carlson

Field Director

Christopher Carlson joined Northwestern Mutual in 2007.  He began his career as a Financial Representative where his focus was building financial security for his clients. Chris is now an active member of the Leadership Team and currently serves as a Field Director where he provides his knowledge and background skills to grow successful Financial Representatives in the business.

Christopher achieved Power of 10 as a college intern, along with Pacesetter 40 and Pacesetter 60 as a full-time Financial Representative.  He was also in 9th place for the Mike Gish Award. He focuses on working with sales executives, banking professionals, medical professionals, and the dentistry market.  His strengths in the business are high activity, persistency, resiliency, and the ability to relate and listen to others.

Chris grew up in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. He graduated from Lawrence University in 2009 with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Economics. In college he participated in both the soccer and golf teams. He has been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and he also volunteers at his church leading a group of fifth graders. In his spare time Christopher enjoys being outdoors, watching sports, and playing golf.

 

Joe Cuda

Financial Representative

Joe has been a flourishing Financial Representative for 6 years now. While attending the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, Joe was intrinsically involved in the college internship program.  During the internship program, Joe achieved Power of 10 twice, putting at least 10 policies in force in a 12 month period.  In 2007, he started working on a team with Steve Voboril and Lane Barkstrom.  A few years later, in 2011, he joined the Leadership Team and is now working towards becoming a Field Director.  Joe loves making an impact in his client’s lives by helping them create a vision for the future.

Joe lives in Milwaukee and has an older brother, Frank, a younger sister, Angela, and two baby nieces.  He enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and is still playing competitive soccer for Milwaukee Sport Club.

 

Jameson Delgadillo

Financial Representative

Jamie helps his clients with financial security solutions, while focusing on the needs of executives and business owners. The cornerstones of his practice are excellent client service, a commitment to continuing education and long-term relationships. Jamie believes a strong team and unwavering ethics help to differentiate his business. Prior to joining the Schwertfeger Group, he spent more than twelve years in the financial services industry in sales, management and marketing roles. Jamie graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Jamie has been married to Sarah since 2000. Together they have three boys, Sam, Logan and Dylan. Jamie and Sarah enjoy spending time together with their children, with family and with friends.
 
Jamie is committed to the betterment of the community he lives in. In 2006, Jamie was named the Hispanic Young Professional of the Year by Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee and INROADS Alumnus of the Year. Jamie's community involvement includes The United Way Emerging Leaders Council, Entrepreneurs Organization (“EO”), INROADS, Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee, the Skylight Theatre, and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin.

 

Dave Emmerich

Financial Representative

Dave Emmerich joined The Holter Financial Group as a Financial Representative Intern in 2010 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. As financial representative intern, Dave achieved Power of 10 as well as the Summer Lives Contest. Dave converted to a fulltime financial representative in August 2010. Dave has gone on to achieve Pacesetter First 40 and has recently earned a College Unit Director (CUD) contract. Dave is a member of our leadership program and he plays an active role with the Financial Representative Intern Program in the Network Office.

 

Darrin Englebert

Financial Advisor

Darrin Englebert believes in Securing Futures, Enhancing Lives, and Creating Legacies. His passion is helping physicians, business owners, and families achieve financial security by helping them visualize their short, mid, and long-term goals. His overall objective is to help his clients obtain their financial dreams. Darrin’s success earned him Pacesetter 40, Bronze Central Region awards in 2009, and Network Office FR of the Year Award in 2010. 

Darrin Englebert graduated from the University of Milwaukee-Wisconsin with a double major in Finance and Marketing. Later he earned his Masters of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School. Darrin is a member of many groups including Cedarburg Education Foundation, Parkview Dad’s Club, and Make a Wish Foundation. Darrin and his wife Tina live together in Cedarburg with their 3 children Lily, Elsa, and Mason.

 

Chris Fugman

Financial Representative

Chris attended and graduated from Marquette University. While at MU, Chris was affiliated with Southwestern Books, selling and managing a sales team. His awards at Southwestern were numerous. Chris found Northwestern Mutual by being a significant client first. He believed in saving money and insuring himself and his family. In his relatively short time with the Schwertfeger District Network Office, he broke all the 6 month records for sales, new clients and total production placed. He quickly joined the Leadership team(L.E.A.D.) and is focused on building his own unit within the District Network Office.

Chris is married to Christina and they have one son, Luke. They currently reside in the Washington Heights.

 

Steven Gardiner

Wealth Management Advisor

Steven is the Director of Estate and Business Planning for The Holter Financial Group of the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. Steven's special areas of expertise include executive compensation, retirement benefits, business transition planning, personal needs analysis and estate analysis.

Prior to joining The Holter Financial Group, Steven worked for a major public accounting firm where he established and directed a national life insurance products consulting practice. During his eleven years in public accounting, Steven provided life insurance consulting services to several hundred corporations, including many Fortune 500 companies. In addition, Steven regularly assisted major life insurance companies with product marketing strategies and conducted numerous seminars on advanced life insurance planning. Steven also provided comprehensive financial planning services to key executives of major corporations.

 

Patrick Kohler

Financial Representative

Patrick J. Kohler, CLU, ChFC, started his career with Northwestern Mutual in 1995 and today works as a part of team providing financial security to closely held business owners, professionals and those people who desire clarity on their estate plans. “We help our clients shift risk and save money more rigorously than they would have on their own. This is simple but critical to everyone we meet.”

Rick Schumaker, JD, CLU, ChFC; Andrew Bird and Aleks Miskov are his team members.
 
He graduated with a Business Administration – Finance degree from Marquette University in 1993. He grew up locally in Whitefish Bay, WI and now resides in Brookfield, WI with his wife Heidi and three daughters: Savannah, Lilly and Ashley. St John Vianney Parish, family vacations, and coaching his girls sports teams keep him busy outside of work.
 
Patrick J. Kohler, CLU, ChFC has been the Life Specialist for the Holter Financial Group since April 2008.

Steven Koppel

Financial Advisor

Steven J. Koppel, JD, CLU, ChFC is the Long Term Care Specialist for the Holter Financial Group of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Steve assists financial representatives and their clients in designing and implementing strategies for paying the cost of Long-term health care. Additionally, he is a pioneer in use of Long-Term Care Insurance as an employee benefit.

He is the past president of the Milwaukee Estate Counselor’s Forum and the Milwaukee Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. Steve served on the Board of Directors for the Milwaukee Jewish Home and Care Center from 1999-2008. 
 
Steve graduated, from the American University with honors in 1973, receiving his B.A. in Political Science. In 1976, he earned his J.D. from Ohio Northern University. He joined the Northwestern in 1978.

 

Ron Krizek

Financial Representative

Ron founded The Krizek Group in 1967. He has over 40 years of experience designing and funding executive benefit programs, business continuation plans, and wealth transfer strategies. He is recognized as a unique professional resource helping executives build and preserve net worth. In addition, he has helped business owners with business continuity and succession planning. He coordinates with other client advisors to achieve the most creative solutions. Ron has been in Northwestern Mutual’s prestigious Top 20 for 19 years. His accumulative production ranks seventh overall.

Ron is a Wisconsin native and earned his degree from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. He is married and has a son, Scott who is also a member of The Krizek Group and a daughter, Claudine.

 

Keith Llanas, J.D.

Financial Representative

Keith Llanas, J.D. attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Wisconsin Law School.  After briefly working as a lawyer, Keith began a new career with Northwestern Mutual. Keith has always believed in saving money and investing his money strategically, and has gained satisfaction helping his clients do the same. Keith’s special areas of expertise include insurance, investments, and business and estate analysis.

Keith is a native of Milwaukee and an avid supporter of all Wisconsin sports. He currently resides in the Third Ward and enjoys spending time with those closest to him.

 

Dan Madigan

Financial Representative

Dan began his career with Northwestern Mutual in July of 1968. Throughout his four decades of service, he has impacted the lives of many and created lasting irreplaceable relationships. Dan has a relentless passion for Northwestern Mutual and helping people. His priority has always been, and will always be, commitment to his clients.

Dan has qualified for Northwestern Mutual’s 5 Lives Club for 40 consecutive years and is No. 1 in the Northwestern Mutual system for doing so. He is also the leader in his Network office in terms of consecutive weekly production, with more than 39 years of doing so.
 
Dan’s consistent activity patterns and positive attitude set him apart and make him an exemplary role model. This has resulted in him achieving these amazing milestones.

 

Scott Mila

Financial Advisor

Scott Mila Joined Northwestern Mutual as a Financial Representative Intern in May 2003 and was ranked as a Top 20 intern in the country.  Scott converted to a full-time contract in June of 2004.  He has achieved many of the new Financial Representative Awards including: Pacesetter 1st 40, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum awards – as well as earning the New Client and Achievement Award for the past two years.  Scott also placed in the Top 10 of NMIS production for the Holter Financial Group for 2008 and prides himself on his well balanced business of risk management and investments.  Scott is Series 7, 66, 63 and 6 licensed and is now a Wealth Management Advisor with the Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Company. 

Scott is a lifetime resident of Waukesha, where he resides with his wife, Breann and daughter, Gracie.  Scott earned a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  He is an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement and The American Cancer Society.  In his free time, Scott enjoys travelling with his family, golf, tennis, volleyball, and skiing.

 

Aleksandar Miskov

Financial Advisor

Aleks Miskov joined the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network five years ago.  Soon after graduating college, Aleks moved back to Milwaukee and accepted a position with M&I Wealth Management. Now as a Financial Advisor with the Rewasiewicz Financial Group, Aleks is currently an active member of the Leadership Team. Aleks started as a team captain with the College Financial Representative Program, and currently working towards becoming a Recruiting Field Director where he will be responsible for the development of new financial representatives into highly professional and successful individuals.

After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Northern Illinois University, Aleks was drawn to a career as a Northwestern Mutual Financial Representative when he was introduced to the career by a close family friend. As a Financial Advisor, Aleks has achieved Pacesetter First 40 and qualified for the Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum awards for new Financial Representatives. He focuses on building his practice to serve business owners, young executives, and medical professionals. He deeply enjoys the ability to impact the lives of others and help clients achieve their financial security.

Aleks grew up in Milwaukee, WI.  Aleks and his girlfriend Carrie currently live in Waukesha, WI with their son Tyler. They look forward to growing as a family and becoming more active in the Waukesha community. In his free time, Aleks enjoys playing sports including basketball and soccer, and loves spending quality time with his family.

 

Gina Pagan

College Unit Director

While attending Marquette University, Gina Pagán joined Northwestern Mutual as a Financial Representative Intern in the spring of 2009. During her time in the internship, Gina realized her passion for helping people achieve their goals and dreams. As a Fiancial Representative Intern, she was a Target 20 and Power of 10 qualifier, which recognizes the top 3% of all interns throughout the country.  Both years Gina was an intern, the Holter Financial Group's internship was recognized as one of the top ten agencies in the nation. She continues to develop current interns as a College Unit Director. Upon graduation, Gina converted to a full-time Financial Representative after two years of test driving the career in the internship program. Since her conversion, she has achieved Pacesetter First 40 and was invited into the Leadership Development Program. Every day, Gina makes an impact in her community by helping her clients attain what is most important to them.

Gina Pagán grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago, and then attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to pursue a degree in Business Administration – Marketing and Information Technology. While at Marquette, she rowed for their women's team for four years and was an Ignatius Scholar recipient. As an alum, Gina gives back to the rowing program as a coach for the Novice Women's squad.

Outside of work, Gina resides in Brookfield and enjoys all things rowing, being a bit of a tech geek, and spending time with family and friends.

 

Melissa Petersen

Financial Representative

Melissa Petersen joined Northwestern Mutual in December of 2001 as a College Financial Representative while attending the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. As a fulltime financial representative, Melissa achieved Pacesetter First 40, Pacesetter Second 60 and the Bronze award. Melissa is a member of our leadership development program and she plays a very active mentoring role with new financial representatives.

Melissa has actively pursued continuing education opportunities throughout her career. Most recently, she achieved her Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in February of 2008.

 

Lora Reinholz, MBA

Financial Representative

Lora Reinholz began her career at Northwestern Mutual in 2009 after 18 years of teaching at the college level.

Lora earned her B.S. degree in Business Administration (Finance and Marketing) from Marquette University in 1984 and her MBA from Webster University.  Prior to her current position, Lora worked with employee benefits at Hewitt Associates and Harley-Davidson, taught at Cardinal Stritch University, served as an alderman for the City of Mequon.  She also has volunteered extensively for the City of Mequon (WI), Lumen Christi Congregation (Thiensville, WI), and the Mequon-Thiensville Orchestra Parents Association.  Lora has presented for the Engaged Enrichment program through the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, various student groups at Marquette University, as well as other organizations and companies.

Lora assists her clients with achieving financial security by focusing on managing risk as well as accumulating and preserving wealth.  She is married with four children.

 

Matthew Rewasiewicz

Financial Representative

Matthew Rewasiewicz joined the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network six years ago. He began his career as a Financial Representative Intern and accepted a full-time contract in August of 2008. As a Financial Representative with the Holter Financial Group, Matt is currently an active member of the Leadership Team. Matt started as a team captain with the College Financial Representative Program, and currently serves as Recruiting Field Director where he develops new financial representatives into highly professional and successful individuals. Matt has also become the Managing Director of the Waukesha District Office for the Holter Financial Group.

After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Consumer Affairs in Business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Matt was drawn to a career as a Northwestern Mutual Financial Representative when he interned at their corporate office during college. As a Financial Representative, Matt has achieved Power of 10, Pacesetter First 40 and Second 60 in 2009, and is one of the top new client producers in the Network Office. Matt also achieved Million Dollar Round Table in 2011. He focuses on working with individuals in the medical field, married couples, young families and entrepreneurs. He deeply enjoys the ability to impact the lives of others and help clients achieve their financial security.

Matt grew up in South Milwaukee, WI. Matt and his wife Nicole currently live in Franklin, WI with their daughter Ava. They look forward to growing as a family and becoming more active in the Franklin community. In his free time, Matt enjoys playing sports including basketball and soccer, and loves cheering on the University of Wisconsin Badgers and the Green Bay Packers.

 

Victor Torres

Financial Representative

Victor Torres started his career with Northwestern Mutual in June 2011 and works fiercely in providing financial security to business owners, professionals and the bi-lingual market.   In the first six months under contract Victor achieved Pacesetter First 40, Pacesetter Second 60 and is currently #1 in the Bronze award. Victor is a member of our leadership development program and is excited to give back to the agency. 

Prior to joining the Grogan Group, Victor spent over ten years in the mortgage industry. He was born in Puerto Rico and attended Universidad Metropolitana.  He moved to the United States in 1999.

Victor has been married to Claudia since 2000. Together they have one daughter and one son: Sofia and Andres.  Victor and Claudia are very active in the Hispanic community and enjoy spending time together with their children, with family and with friends.

 

Charles Wierschem

Financial Representative

While growing up, Chuck Wierschem always had a dream of starting and building his own business as well as an inherent desire to help people.  Being financially secure is very important to most people and Chuck enjoys helping his clients to attain this security.  Through a personal planning process, Chuck strives to know his clients and analyze their situation, working with them as if it was his own family or business.

Chuck believes that it was a true blessing to come across Northwestern Mutual at such an early point in his career.  He believes that the attitude of Northwestern Mutual is in line with his own attitude in life, "...to always do what is right for the policyowner!"  Chuck cherishes the relationships that have been built with his current clients and looks forward to building many more new relationships during his career. 

A lifetime resident of Wisconsin, Chuck Wierschem was raised by his two wonderful parents, Tom and Becky and he grew up with three younger sisters, Katie, Betsy and Amy.  Chuck was married in July 2005 to Michelle and they now reside in Wauwatosa, WI.  In June 2007, Chuck and Michelle were blessed with a daughter, Madysen Elizabeth.  Chuck looks forward to watching Madysen grow up to be a fine young lady.  Someday, he hopes to be retired, spending his time traveling with Michelle as well as golfing, playing poker, and spoiling his grandchildren.  His hobbies include softball, golf, poker, darts, and collecting Paul Molitor memorabilia. Chuck enjoys cheering on the Brewers, Packers, and his various fantasy sports teams.  He also enjoys volunteering at the Bradley Center, playing trumpet for weddings and other church services and he serves on the board of directors for the Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School Foundation.
