The Northwestern Mutual Financial Network has been an integral part of Milwaukee, Wisconsin since 1857. The Network Office, currently led by Steve H. Holter, has also been fortunate enough to call Milwaukee home since February of 1885, making it one of the oldest Network Offices in the company.

Having been a member of the Milwaukee area for nearly 125 years, we share and understand the values and ideals of our community. We also know the local environment in which companies operate, and what it takes to succeed.

Northwestern Mutual recently announced a dividend payout for 2010 of more than 4.7 billion dollars - the second largest in our company history - for clients who own life, annuity, DI and long-term care policies.

The four major ratings agencies, Standard & Poor’s, A.M. Best, Moody’s, and Fitch, have each confirmed the company’s insurance financial strength ratings.
